Catherine Boyle and I were colleagues between 1996 and 2001 at OptiMark, an electronic trading company. Catherine skillfully trained OptiMark customers, the majority of whom were securities traders, in the concepts and functionality of a complicated trading system. She was organized, articulate, creative, and hard-working, traveling to trading desks and exchanges throughout the country. She endeared herself to the customers with her intelligence and quick wit. Catherine picks up new concepts quickly and can, in turn, explain them clearly to others. She is a creative problem solver.
